Das grosse Ticken - Le silence des oiseaux chanteurs
Every two years, the Department of Fine Arts at Bellelay Abbey Church invites contemporary artists to enter into a dialogue with the baroque building designed by the Voralberg master builder Franz Beer. With her immersive work "Das grosse Ticken - Le silence des oiseaux chanteurs", Swiss artist Daniela Keiser succeeded in combining the material configuration of the baroque church with contemporary issues. This created a bridge between the epochs, allowing a new perception of the phenomenon of temporal layering. The photographs draw attention to the spatial effect of the floor work without losing sight of the beauty of the architecture.
