Every day for a year – except on Sundays and Holidays – the first finished cup of coffee
was photographed from above in a fixed installation of camera and lighting. Using photo
corners, each resulting colour polaroid of a cup with remnants of coffee was attached to an
A5 cardboard mount bearing the main headline of the day's Neue Zürcher Zeitung. The cards with photographs were arranged chronologically and placed in monthly archive boxes.
