Located in Zurich’s new Europaallee development, this narrow office and commercial building is characterised by a distinct formal rigour. The façade’s repetitive setup creates a grid structure, which nevertheless experiences a rhythm change at the transition to the building’s two-storey base. The three parts of the building respond to the immediate context – and yet they appear as one unit. The construction materials of dark granite and steel emphasise the abstract formal language of the building.
